There’s a story, of the Wild Woman of the Woods, who comes and steals children who wander out of the community. One mother who loses her child, she cries so much that her tears and snot collect in a mussel shell, and ʕintḥtinm̓it is born. In many stories, ʕintḥtinm̓it is grows quickly and become so strong and smart that he is able to defeat the Wild Woman, saving the children and bringing them home to the village.
